There are certain phrases like "time will heal" that are troublesome for me. As far as I'm concerned, time is slowly killing us. This is where we need more than time to heal our wounds.

You have a solid point. Contrast that with the concept of Christ as the anti-curse...and you have the reality that God can heal in an instant if any of us are willing to believe. It's not exactly moving mountains or raising the dead, but people might just notice.
